Description: After a long slumber Wu Xin (Elvis Han) wakes up during China’s new Republic era. He is a wandering immortal who lives a hungry and penniless life. He has no recollection of how long he has lived or how he came to be, but he has powers where he can sense the presence and communicate with spirits good and evil that still roam the living world. He pretends to be a monk to make a living.

During his latest slumber he wakes up next to Li Yue Ya (Gina Jin), in a wintery forest. She has just ran away from home to escape a force marriage to an elderly man. Seeing how hungry Wu Xin looks she offers him her last bit of food. To repay her act of kindness he follows her and promises that tonight the two will feast and have a place to stay. He uses his powers to search for evil spirits that intend to do harm to the living and rid them from the living world. Together the two set off pretending to be siblings to find whoever is in need of his services. At first Yue Ya does not believe Wu Xin and thinks he is a con artist until she assists him in his first job to rid an anger evil spirit residing at the home owned by the local warlord. As the two progress on their journey friendship and then romance form between Wu Xin and Yue Ya.

擁有不老不死本領的法師無心(韓東君飾)，他的雙眼能看見能量聚散，粘稠稀少的血液則可讓違逆世間法則而聚合一起的能量消散。一次意外墮坡，偶遇到因逃婚而無家可歸的姑娘月牙(金晨飾)，月牙將身上僅有的鍋頭分給了飢餓的無心，無心深受感動，決定報恩。
緣分牽引 展開捉妖之旅
身無分文的無心和月牙，一同走到了由司令顧玄武(王彥霖飾)統領的文縣。無心以天眼搜索到某大宅內有妖氣，為求果腹，決定以捉妖形式賺取生活所需。
該大宅的主人原來就是坐擁豐厚身家的玄武，無心簡單的施展幾下本領，就引出了水井下女妖出現並消滅她。無心深得玄武之信任，答應繳付一萬大洋讓無心驅妖，怎料水井下被封印百年的另一女妖岳綺羅(陳瑤飾)也被一同解封。
綺羅對無心一見鍾情，誓要從月牙手上搶得無心，還施下「紙人蠱術」，務求令月牙返回百年前，重蹈綺羅為愛人自縊的覆轍……
法師秘密 惹來感情危機
月牙與無心相處下來，認為他是個值得信任、可以付託終身的人。不過，有感無心的工作十分艱險，無論他有何任務，月牙也搶着要一同前往，好讓自己放心。
見證過多宗捉妖事件後，月牙發現妖魔「作孽」背後有一段段可歌可泣的愛情故事，感嘆好日子短暫，希望與無心一同開心度過餘下的人生。
無心即時向月牙求婚，讓月牙甜在心頭！可是無心一次嚴重受傷，揭露了他的一個秘密，月牙突然覺得眼前的無心有太多事情瞞着自己，讓二人陷入感情危機……
風光無常 司令慘被出賣
另一邊廂，玄武亦陷入人生大危機！與玄武自小便是好友的張顯宗(張若昀飾)，為奪兵權令玄武一夜間一無所有，還揚言要斬草除根穩定權勢。玄武別無選擇下，只好逃到月牙的住處，成為月牙與無心之間的「電燈膽」。
自此有任何問題，三人攜手一同解決，最要急的一項任務就是要剷除對三人威脅甚大的綺羅！
百年妖女 三人攜手殲滅
綺羅把顯宗迷得神魂顛倒，兩人攜手合作，力量更是提升！無心、月牙、玄武三人到青雲觀求助，得掌門出塵子(隋詠良飾)揭露綺羅的秘密。無心趁綺羅不備成功攻擊綺羅，可惜仍未能置她於死地，反惹來顯宗追殺，將無心射殺至碎片……
一個不速之客的出現，讓無心的生活再起波瀾！他是白琉璃(Mike飾)，陪伴了無心千百年的摯友。此行，他是為了帶走無心而來。原來無心除了不死，還有着更大秘密，更讓無心和月牙的感情面臨最嚴峻的考驗。與此同時，更大的危機也在暗中醞釀，暫時蟄伏的綺羅及顯宗正在計劃着一場瘋狂而血腥的復仇大計！
