Description: 華佗（林文龍）自幼聰慧過人、醉心醫學，因緣際會下，拜名醫張仲景為師。一次，關雲長（尹揚明）帶同鄉求醫，佗發現此人的病症有異，不是普通傷寒，故將《傷寒論》和《滋陰論》結合，成功研究出治療瘟疫之法。惜百姓迷信鬼神之說，加上小人得志，對佗諸多加害，令其惹上殺身之禍。時景之長女張妙心（伍詠薇）與佗兩情相悅，決心下嫁並隨夫逃亡。 佗移居許昌後有醫無類，不論病得多重的人也全力拯救，結果往往失敗，被評為「醫死人大夫」，生活每況愈下。後佗替曹操（黃日華）的幼兒醫好多年頑疾，得操賞識，封為太醫院監，著手撰寫醫學大全。好景不常，操的奸雄本色漸露，命佗製毒藥殺害關之士兵，佗不恥操所為，投靠關。操頭風病發作，老羞成怒，以斬殺太醫院內三百餘人作脅，逼佗返回許昌為其治病，佗深知此行凶多吉少，莫非這就是命運的安排？
